CHC30708 - Certificate III in Children's ServicesThe Certificate III in Children’s Services can lead to a career as a child care worker in the fields of centre based, outside school hours and family day care or related services. The Certificate III in Children’s Services provides entry levels skills or individuals wishing to find employment in the industry and basic training for Child Care workers to extend their skills by learning how to provide appropriate care, administration support and maintain a safe environment. It will also act to formalise your existing knowledge or skills. Entry RequirementsThere are no special entry requirements for this qualification however it is recommended students are 17 years of age and have a minimum sound level in English and Maths. Students are required to have the ability to read and write simple documents and collect basic numeral data. You must also undergo a police check for a criminal background in order to work in Childcare. Language, Literacy and NumeracyABRA QLD supports all learners by profiling their individual language, literacy and numeracy skills prior to commencement and throughout the training and assessment process.
